Let's have a gathering!

Here's Kelen Killuahunter out about in town in his spiffy new car. (Yes, I'm leaving you guys on the cliff...)

As he sped past the City Hall, he noticed a group of people gathered at its steps waving signboards about. He decided to check it out. (No, I can't organize mass gatherings for them to protest!)

Spotted among the protesters for the execution of the (SIMS' version of the legendary Loch Ness monster) Sunset Valley Monster which was prowling the deep waters surrounding the beaches of this peaceful (?) little town, was Ms Evilin Lin.

Not to sure if she was the one that instigated this (illegal) protest, since Killuahunter did chance upon it randomly.

It was getting late, and as the protesters packed up, a few of them started to socialize and chatted about really random stuff.

As the gathering dispersed, two lonely souls retrieved their copies of Unicorns for Audrey and began reading right at the place where they were making a hullabaloo earlier.

Would it be love at first sight?

And again.

Catching his breath from his brief sprint across the roads (no traffic!), he almost runs into someone he'd met earlier.

Apparently, Ah Ben digs the Cheesesteak they serve at this place.

Being well-mannered, L bore with his hunger and demonstrated his incredible grapevine skills again.

"Did you know that Mr K. Tan is filthy rich? I never would have guessed!"

Ah Ben delighted in this knowledge but had to cut the conversation short as it was getting late, and it was getting close to his bed time.

Realizing that the food joint was closed, L decided to head home too.

It was indeed a fruitful day out, I thought as L arrived at his doorstep.

But definitely not a food-ful one.

L went to bed without dinner.

The search for noms.

After his less-than-stimulating conversation, L surprised me by whipping a laptop out from nowhere.

(I don't recall purchasing a laptop for him, and I did not spot any tables in his randomly assigned house with a laptop earlier either...)

Although he was hungry, he decided to plop his laptop down - and went in search of good food around Sunset Valley. (I think he was using Wireless@SV.)

Turns out a decent joint was just across the street.

I believe L was the model for that pedestrian signboard in the foreground.

The people we meet.

After saying goodbye to Ms Padi, L headed over to the park, across the road.

Where he minds his manners and shakes hands with Mr K. Tan, who is feeling really entertained as he had just burped right in L's face before I managed to capture that screen.

Let's suffice with this:

Finding out that L is great at computers, Mr K. Tan decided to ask L what was wrong with his wonky copy of the SIMS. Apparently it wouldn't run on his latest laptop.

L then asked Mr K. if the CD was inserted.

Apparently, Mr K. did not insert the CD.

A little perturbed at Mr K.'s lack of cleverness, L waved him goodbye with the excuse that it was getting late.

The hot topic

Ah Ben drifted off the conversation after a while, and wandered off (I wasn't paying attention.)

But when I came back, he was introducing himself to Ms Padi Lin.

Apparently, Ms Padi Lin is trying to look for a new laptop, which can support the SIMS 3, as her sister, Evilin was hogging the PC at home, trolling forums.

L then showed off his incredible grapevine skills by informing Ms Padi that Kelen Killuahunter may actually be an alien disguised as a human living in this town.

Seeing that they were just outside a theatre, L invited Ms Padi to go for a movie with him.

She agreed, and so in they went.

After about 2 hours (SIM time) when they were done with the movie, L made his move and set up an appointment with Ms Padi (I'm just guessing) to catch Harry Potter some time soon.

Not sure if she agreed, but I noticed L's car in the background while they were talking. The poor car had been parked there for ages.

I hope they don't have crazy parking rates in this area.

Let's head out.

While reading about Audrey and her Unicorns, a notification popped up, informing L that there was a weekly sale going on at the groceries store.

Needing to stock up on his ice cream, he changed (or rather, covered up) and got into his car to head into town.

As he got off the car, however, he bumped into Ah Ben (he seems to have a natural affinity for the whiz kids in town).

Ah Ben appears to be telling L that he looks like a character from a movie.

To which L began to describe the films his look-alike has been in.

Peekaboo.

Say HI! to the other computer whiz kid in Sunset Valley - L Lolliet.

Apparently, he's got a really sweet tooth.

Ice cream first thing in the morning?

Yum.

Pink hearts on your boxers while you go pottering around the house?

Double yums.

Just in case you can't see those hearts, here's a close-up.

Apparently, Unicorns for Audrey is a very popular book around Sunset Valley - spotted 2 of the few characters I have introduced so far reading it already.

Must get my hands on that book.
